GC Tooth Mousse is a flavoured, water based topical crème with Recaldent, the trade mark for its bio-available phosphate and calcium. Recaldent is Casein Phosphopeptide - Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (CPP-ACP). It is from milk casein. Using a clean finger, apply GC Tooth Mousse directly on the teeth and other oral surface and allow it to dissolve overnight.
Many of the common drinks we take, such as coffee, alcohol, carbonated and sports energy drinks lower the saliva’s pH from its neutral level of 7. A pH below 7 indicates that the saliva has become acidic. Saliva with a balanced or neutral pH can protect the teeth from sensitivity and decay. A pH drop to 5.5 or lower is favourable to the growth of cavity-causing bacteria. The teeth will be vulnerable to acid attack and tooth decay may occur.
GC Tooth Mousse Plus is beneficial for teeth because Recaldent (CPP-ACP) has phosphate and calcium, the minerals that serve as the major building blocks of the teeth. Regular application of GC Tooth Mousse Plus strengthens the teeth by replacing any lost calcium and phosphate lost from acid attacks when we eat or drink sugar- or acid-rich food.
GC Tooth Mousse Plus also contains fluoride that works with calcium and phosphate to protect and strengthen the teeth.
GC Tooth Mousse Plus with fluoride can be used by anyone who is over 6 years old except those with milk protein allergy (Recaldent is from milk casein) as well as those with allergy or sensitivity to benzoate preservatives.
Fluoride-free GC Tooth Mousse is a recommended alternative for children below 6 years old.

When Should You Use GC Tooth Mousse Plus?

What Is The Best Way To Use GC Tooth Mousse Plus?
Application time on the tooth surface should be at least for 3 minutes for maximum benefit. Then, allow enough time for the cream to gradually dissipate. There’s no harm if you swallow some tooth mouse as it is derived from milk. However, for GC Tooth Mousse Plus with fluoride, we advise spitting out the excess crème.
Warning
Again, anyone with allergies to milk protein or sensitivity to benzoate preservatives should not use GC Tooth Mousse Plus
